The Edge Of Polarization

Excessive exploitation of ethnicity, religion, race, class, or group or ideology fragmentation to root the social identity fanaticism, and personal biases into more extreme social segregation that can be capitalized into political support or to win short-term electoral preferences. In a long term, this intentional polarization can lead to larger existential conflict between segregated groups that can harm unity.
